Things are slowly getting back to normal on Indie Retro News after my earlier computer failure, as we are pleased to announce ReImagine Games via Earok on the EAB forums, has released an update to the LaserDisc game 'Road Avenger ' for the Commodore Amiga. This game was announced as a first for the Amiga last year, when prior to that it was both an Arcade LaserDisc game and later ported over to the Sega CD by the original team.

Vp asp shopping cart. Based on the Japanese anime of the same name, Albegas was a 1983 laserdisc game by Sega that differentiated itself by allowing the choice of different paths to take throughout the game. Bally Midway released the game in North America as Cybernaut in March 1984. Daphne is an emulator written by Matt Ownby which lets you play LaserDisc arcade games, like Dragon's Lair, Badlands, Cobra Command, Space Ace to mention but a few. And what is Hypseus? Hypseus is the Jeffrey Clark's fork of Daphne which adds some improvements to it.
Unlike Time Gal 'Road Avenger' was a game that stuck in the minds of many as it wasn't just a Laserdisc game but it also appeared as a common title found with the Sega MegaCD. Plus it was a better game for its time being that most kids preferred cars and less so of Anime girls. Thankfully with it appearing on the Amiga all of us will be able to enjoy it, because as the website write up says 'you can engage in a relentless, vengeful car chase against RRR thugs, in order to wipe them off the highway and take your sweet revenge for the murder of your beloved wife!'Commodore Amiga -=Road Avenger=- v. 1.3
